Dampers List

Curtain Type Fire Damper

The CFD74 curtain type fire damper is engineered for installation in concrete and brick walls or floors where ducts intersect fire-rated barriers, offering a 4-hour fire integrity rating tested to SS 333:2012 standards. It is constructed with a 1.5 mm galvanized steel frame and 1.0 mm curtain-type blades that provide minimal resistance to airflow during normal operations. When heat triggers the thermal mechanism at 74°C, the fusible link separates, allowing the curtain blades to drop by gravity in vertical wall applications or close via spring tension in horizontal floor assemblies to stop flame propagation. Available with angle joint, TDC joint, slot-in, or L + angle joint connections, it provides reliable passive compartmentation.

Multi-Blade Fire Damper / Motorized Fire Damper

The MFD74 multi-blade fire damper is designed to halt the transfer of fire across partition walls and floor penetrations, utilizing either a heat-sensitive fusible link that activates at 74°C or an electric actuator for motorized emergency control. It is built with a heavy-duty 1.5 mm galvanized steel frame, 1.5 mm galvanized steel blades, and durable brass pivot bushings to guarantee smooth, fail-safe closing under emergency conditions. Tested for up to 250 minutes of fire resistance under BS 476: Part 20:1987 guidelines, it accommodates multiple duct connection options (Angle Joint, TDC Joint, Slot-in, and L + Angle) and offers flexible actuator mounting configurations (outside, inside middle, inside full, or front-mounted)

Smoke Damper / Low Leakage Damper

The MSD smoke damper is a low-leakage barrier damper designed in accordance with UL-555S Class II requirements to prevent toxic smoke and gases from traveling through HVAC ducts. Constructed with a 1.5 mm galvanized steel frame and double-thickness 1.0 mm (1.0 mm × 2) galvanized blades rotating on brass bushings, it can be mounted horizontally or vertically in lengths from 300 mm to 1200 mm. High-performance stainless steel blade and jamb seals provide tight closure against blade stops, capable of maintaining integrity, seal performance, and physical shape even after 2 hours of direct heat exposure at 250°C. It supports angle, TDC, slot-in, and L + angle duct joints, and integrates with external or internal electric actuators for automated smoke control management.

Volume Control Damper / Motorized Volume Control Damper

The VCD/MVCD volume control damper manages and balances airflow rates across individual duct zones and rooms during testing, commissioning, and everyday HVAC operations. Constructed with 1.0 mm galvanized steel or stainless steel frames and matching 1.0 mm blades, its opposed-blade layout ensures uniform airflow control whether mounted vertically or horizontally. Manual balancing is performed using a galvanized steel locking quadrant arm handle, while the motorized MVCD configuration uses an electric actuator (mountable in outside, internal middle, full internal, or front orientations) for automated airflow modulation across TDC, slip joint, angle, or slot-in duct connections.

Circular Volume Control Damper / Motorized Circular Volume Control Damper

The CVCD/MCVCD is designed specifically for round spiral ducts, circular sheet metal lines, and flexible duct take-offs. It features a 0.7 mm galvanized steel circular casing and an internal 0.5 mm galvanized steel damper blade regulated by a heavy-duty galvanized steel locking quadrant arm. The assembly provides dependable airflow balancing and shutoff for round air distribution runs, and can be supplied with an electric actuator (MCVCD) to deliver motorized, automated airflow management in round duct systems.

Non Return Damper

The NRD non-return damper operates automatically via differential pressure and gravity to ensure air flows only in the intended direction and eliminate backdraughts when fans are turned off. Built with a rigid 1.0 mm galvanized steel casing, it incorporates lightweight galvanized steel gravity louvers—0.4 mm thick for widths under 800 mm and 0.7 mm thick for widths exceeding 800 mm—that swing open freely under system airflow and drop shut when flow ceases. It is available with TDC joints, slip joints, or slot-in connections for straightforward integration into rectangular ventilation, intake, and exhaust lines.

Gearing Type Opposed Blade Damper (OBD)

The SS1 gearing type opposed blade damper is a compact volume-control accessory designed to mount directly to the rear of supply diffusers, return grilles, and louvers. Constructed with a 0.5 mm galvanized steel outer frame and 0.8 mm black-anodized aluminum blades, its corrosion-resistant profile provides a long service life while blending discreetly behind the grille face. The internal gear-driven mechanism allows installers to perform fine air balancing and adjustment smoothly through the front face of the terminal device without having to dismantle the ceiling assembly or detach the ductwork.

Fan Blade Damper / Radial Fan Blade Damper

The SR1 radial fan blade damper is a circular volume balancing accessory fitted directly to the round inlet necks of diffusers and grilles (such as the SQ-A, MR-A, and MJ-A). Its radiating blade configuration distributes and throttles incoming air evenly across the circular collar, preventing asymmetric airflow jets while providing precise airflow calibration directly upstream of the terminal face.

Butterfly Damper

The SR2 butterfly damper is a circular duct balancing accessory equipped with split, hinged semi-circular blades that open and close along a central pivot axis. Attached to round neck diffusers and grille transitions, it allows technicians to regulate incoming air volumes smoothly and lock damper settings firmly in place during final air balancing.
