Digital Control Valve

A digital control valve is a smart, networked valve that combines an actuator-controlled control valve with integrated sensors—typically an ultrasonic flow meter and temperature sensor—and communication protocols like Modbus to enable precise hydronic balancing and real-time data exchange for building automation. The valve can use different control strategies (flow, energy, ΔT/return temperature or combinations) and provides position feedback, local override, and diagnostic data, improving energy efficiency and allowing remote commissioning and monitoring.
